Resin Coatings Systems Seals and coatings, typically 0.2mm in thickness (two coats), provide a tough chemical and abrasion resistance and are used to treat concrete floors and finished walls. High Build Floor coatings, typically 0.5mm in thickness (two coats), provide a protective coating that additionally offers excellent hygiene and clean-ability.

| Resin Flow Systems Resin flow systems range from 1mm to 5mm in thickness and provide an easily maintainable smooth seamless surface. Furthermore, these systems provide good chemical, abrasion and impact resistance. Although originally considered for industrial environments, the high gloss lends itself to commercial, retail and even domestic environments.

| Slip resistance and decorative systems With the application of fine aggregates and flakes, coating systems can be modified to offer both slip resistance and decorative characteristics. Furthermore, resin flow systems can offer the benefits of high impact and abrasion together with slip resistance and decorative characteristics. |
Resin Screed Flooring Resin screed systems are designed for environments where levels of impact, abrasion and chemical resistance are required. These screed systems offer the benefit that they can be laid to follow falls and coved to form skirting detail. This provides a very hygienic detail, which is necessary in a number of environments. These screed systems can range in thickness from 4mm to 9mm depending on whether the environment requires a medium or heavy duty system. The systems offer both colour flexibility and slip resistance with the application of fine aggregates and clear or coloured seal coats.

| Resin Quartz Flooring
As with screed systems, quartz flooring systems offer the benefit that they can be laid to follow falls and coved to form skirting detail. However, these screed systems offer the added benefit that they are highly decorative. These systems can range in thickness from 4mm to 6mm depending on the environment and whether a medium or heavy-duty system is required. With a modified quartz system and the application of a decorative quartz scatter, it is possible to provide a highly decorative slip resistance system at 4.5mm. Environments that suit this system include kitchens, showers and swimming pool surrounds.

Walls With highly skilled workmanship it is possible to apply resin screed (plain and decorative) to walls. By the application of resin to both floor and wall these systems provide a fully enclosed system with excellent hygienic qualities. Showers and changing rooms offer the ideal environments, especially with the use of decorative quartz screed and scatter for slip resistance.

PU (Heavy Duty ) Resin Flooring Polyurethane (PU) resin screed systems are designed for heavy duty environments where maximum chemical resistance is required. These systems can range in thickness from 5mm to 9mm depending on the need for high temperature tolerances. With a textured surface these systems can provide some slip resistance. With a cove formed in PU to provide a skirting detail these systems can be laid in food preparation environments offering the benefit of steam clean ability (at 9mm).

Elastomeric Resin Flooring These systems are solid resin colour systems and are often referred to as liquid vinyl or comfort systems. They offer the benefit of providing an element of flexibility and unlike a vinyl floor they are seamless. These resin systems are normally laid at 2mm to 3mm nominal thickness. They are laid in both vibrant and light colours and unlike epoxy resin systems they offer greater UV resistance given that they are finished with the application of a polyurethane UVR sealer. These systems are suited to a number of environments.

Fast Cure systems On some occassions it is necessary to install fast curing resin systems where speed of installation is of paramount importance. These systems can take the form of either quartz grip systems used in kitchen/production areas or decorative flake systems in nightclubs or wine bars. These systems use fast curing resin which allows for the application of a number of layers of resin in one day. It must be appreciated that these systems are not suitable for all environments given the nature of the fast cure resin being used and the final cosmetic appearance. However, where speed of installation is required, these systems do offer a suitable option.
