When Sir Norman Foster set about work on the new Bloomberg headquarters in London, its design brief was to design a vibrant space for its 4,000 London based
employees. The 3.2-acre site provides 1.1 million square feet of office space.
A unique part of Bloomberg’s £1 billion London HQ involved incorporating the Temple of Mithras – a Roman temple originally uncovered in 1953. The Temple has now been returned to its original location seven metres below modern street level.
This innovative museum includes some 14,000 artefacts and is now open to the public. At the entrance to this museum, we installed a dramatic resin floor from Flowcrete, Flowshield FX. Its aesthetics and durability make it the perfect flooring solution.
